Features
Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Automatic Mens Watch 304.93.44.52.03.002. The watch features a brushed finished blue ceramic case complemented by polished finished beveled corners and a polished blue ceramic bezel adorned with a satin finished Ceragold (18kt Sedna gold filled) Tachymeter scale. It includes a polished blue ceramic crown and chronograph buttons, alongside a striking polished blue aventurine glass dial. The hands are crafted from polished 18kt Sedna gold, with the center hands featuring luminescent fill, while the applied 18kt Sedna gold index hour markers also have luminescent fill for visibility. The dial showcases fine printed minutes, seconds, and fractions of a second tracks, with a small continuous running seconds hand located at the center of the sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position, where the date is displayed along the perimeter, indicated by a red circular tipped hand. The chronograph stopwatch functions include a column wheel mechanism, a large central seconds hand counter with a luminous spear-head tip, and a combined minute and hour counter on a single sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position. The moonphase is indicated via an aperture at 6 o'clock, featuring a blue enamel aventurine glass moonphase disc with moons crafted in 18kt Sedna gold. This timepiece houses the Omega Master Co-Axial caliber 9904, which beats at 28,000 vph (4Hz), contains 54 jewels, and boasts an approximate power reserve of 60 hours, thanks to its twin barrels mounted in series; it is METAS certified as a Master-Chronometer, ensuring water resistance, precision, and magnetic resistance up to 15'000 gauss. Additionally, it is resistant to magnetic fields exceeding this threshold and utilizes Omega's "Si 14" silicon balance spring for enhanced shock resistance and environmental durability. The watch's chronometric performance is further improved by the Co-Axial Escapement, which minimizes friction and the need for lubrication, thereby extending service intervals. The rotor and visible bridges are elegantly finished with a unique "arabesque" wave design.
